Independent Theatre Reviewers Association is proud to announce the winners of the ITRA Awards for 2009.  We have chosen honorees who embody the essence of not only artistic integrity, but also of complete dedication to their craft.  We have chosen artists in three different categories:  film, television, and live performance.  The honorees range from a tried and true legend to an exceptional newcomer to a resurgent actor.  One thing all the artists have in common is the commitment to aspire greatness in the performing arts.  ITRA congratulates the six honorees and wish them much success in their artistic pursuits.
